Diamond Prize Draw for the Benefit of the Nothing But Nets Program
At the Junior Chamber International’s magnificent World Congress Gala held in Brussels, Belgium on November 5, Augenstern Canada and Augenstern Switzerland awarded a gift certificate in the amount of 5,000 euros.
Canadian and Swiss Junior Chamber members sold tickets for the draw during the Congress to raise funds for the Nothing But Nets program. This United Nations program provides young children in Africa with mosquito nets to prevent them from being bitten while they’re sleeping by malaria-infected mosquitoes. The winner of the draw organized jointly by the Canadian and Swiss Junior Chambers was Per Rylander from Stockholm, Sweden.
